Brittany Schwikert

AP Spanish Language Teacher

Brittany Schwikert (known as ¡Profe! to her students) is a veteran Spanish teacher in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago, where she teaches Spanish 1, AP Spanish Language and Culture, and English as a Second Language. After graduating as a Spanish major from the University of Michigan, Brittany joined Teach For America and taught middle school Spanish in Charlotte, North Carolina where she also earned her Masters in Teaching a Foreign Language. Brittany believes in the power of educational travel, and has organized 3 trips abroad with students to Europe and South America, and is planning on taking a final one to Japan in the summer of 2021. In addition to teaching, Brittany enjoys doing yoga, cheering too loud for Michigan athletics (go blue!!), and adventuring in Spanish speaking countries.
